Allanmere winery was established in 1985 at Lovedale in the Lower Hunter Valley, New South Wales. The winery's flagship wine, the Durham Chardonnay, takes its name from the founder's alma mata at Durham University in the UK.
Nowadays Allanmere draws on over sixty years of winemaking experience in Australia's oldest and most awarded wine region, making them one of the Hunter's most revered producers. Owner and winemaker Greg Silkman heads a team including Jim Chatto and Ross Pearson that boasts enormous expertise.
