Ernst & Co Wines is a dedicated family affair with a passion for the fruit of the vine. Husband and wife team, Ernst and Gwenda Gouws are the soul and drive behind the business. Situated in South Africa's most famous wine region, the 67 hectare estate produces very individual wines of great finesse and at excellent prices!
The whole range exhibit very individual styles, which have to be tasted to appreciate the high standard. The Chenin Blanc & Chardonnay are both very approachable wines with lovely fruit and the Sauvignon is a new world Loire Valley style white. Both reds are absolute crackers; the Shiraz is similar to a top Northern Rhone red and the Pinot comparable to premium Burgundy labels.
